This room was screaming for attention. That wall color was the pitts and the ivory walls just weren’t my cup of tea. The man in the photo was the home inspector.
I striped the entry in two shades of gray and ripped the carpet off the stairs. I installed the shoe cabinet to keep the area tidy when we have guests over.
The Family Room
This was the formal living room but since we turned the intended family room into our dining room, this became the Family Room. It houses the only remaining Deep Blue Sea carpet in our house.
The Master Bedroom
This was the only color we liked in the house. All of our furniture is from our single person days.
The Powder Room
I practically gutted this room and re-built it. Upcycled vanity, painted stripes, hand painted countertops and diy artwork. There isn’t a window so this space is nearly impossible to photograph correctly.
Formal Dining Room
There isn’t really much to see here. We ripped up the carpet and painted. We hung art that we had in our apartment.
Eat-in Area of Kitchen
The kitchen has had quite a few transformations. We removed some upper cabinets, painted the walls and added roman shades. I’ve been chipping away at the decor bit by bit.
Main Kitchen Area
This room has also come quite a ways. I repainted the room and painted all the built ins. I built the craft table from scratch and we laid peel and stick vinyl floor tiles. I’m considering building a larger table.
